Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 c self rising flour
    1 c pecans
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar, add vanilla, then add flour.
    Roll into balls.
    Bake at 300 degrees until brown.
    Let cool for a few minutes, then roll in confectioners sugar.
