Creamy Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. wild rice (Uncle Ben's long grain for example)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. diced pimento
    1/2 c. slivered blanched almonds
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. light cream
    3 to 4 c. cooked chicken
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Prepare rice as directed.
    Cook onion in margarine (do not brown).
    Remove from heat and stir in flour.
    Add the 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
    Add cream.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
    Add wild rice, mushrooms, chicken and pimento.
