Baked Apricots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. apricots
    2 lbs. apricots
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. water
    4 oz. sugar

    seeds from 5 cardamon pods

    zest of one lemon

    1/2 quart pistachio ice cream

    4 sprigs mint to garnish

Preparation
    Cut apricots in half and remove stone.\tPlace skin side up in individual ovenproof dishes or one larger one.
    Put the water in a small saucepan.
    Add crushed cardamon seeds, sugar and lemon zest, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
