Grapenut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup grapenuts
1 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup walnuts-optional
Preparation

Mix together grapenuts, sugar and buttermilk and let stand overnight. Add remaining ingredients and bake in loaf pan at 325 for 1 hour.
