Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 can (14 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in top of double boiler; add chocolate and blend. Add sugar, milk and salt and cook on low heat, stirring frequently for 20 minutes.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes one quart.
