Ingredients

2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Combine water and sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Add milk and eggs. Stir in coconut and next 5 ingredients. Add rice and let stand for 30 minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
