White'S Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    3 oz. Baker's chocolate
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Put the chocolate over low heat and let melt.
Then add the sugar and milk.
Turn the heat up, a little at a time, stir to keep the candy from burning.
    Cook to soft ball stage.
Set the pan in a large container of cold water.
    (Mrs.
White said, the secret to good non-grainy fudge is to let it cool in a big pan of cold water before beating it, she sometimes used the sink.)
    Then add butter and vanilla.
Beat it until it has cooled somewhat and ready to pour.
Pour it into an already prepared buttered dish.
Let it harden and cut into squares.
