Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 stick oleo or butter
1 c. Crisco
6 large eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, oleo and Crisco until well blended and creamy. Beat in 1 egg at a time.
Mix well after each egg.
Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk.
Add vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (do not open oven door for 1 hour).
Remove from pan when done.
Cool on wire rack.
