Quick And Easy Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole chicken breasts, cut in half, skin and fat removed
    1 Tbsp. oil
    3 onions, quartered
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 bay leaf
    3/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sliced carrots
Preparation
    Brown chicken in oil.
    Drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients to skillet.
    Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender, adding more water if needed. Remove cover and continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated and mixture is thick.
    Yields 6 servings.
