Prune Cake With Buttermilk Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Blend sugar, oil, eggs, sifted flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and allspice together.
    Add buttermilk to the egg mixture.
    Add vanilla, nuts and prunes; mix well.
    Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish, lightly greased with butter.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Use Buttermilk Icing.
