Cream Of Mushroom Soup(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. oil
    4 cans mushrooms
    1/4 c. flour
    3 1/2 c. water
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. chopped basil
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/4 c. skim milk
Preparation
    Add oil to a medium saucepan and saute onions and garlic until onions are translucent.
    Add mushrooms and 1/4 cup flour.
    Add water, bouillon cubes, bay leaf, pepper and salt.
    Let it come to a boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
    Add skim milk, then mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and add to soup. Cook until thickened.
