Honey Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. shortening (butter flavor Crisco)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. warm water
6 to 7 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 to 1/3 c. wheat germ
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Stir in all ingredients, adding enough flour to make firm dough that's easy to handle.
Turn into greased bowl so greased side is up.
Let rise to double (about 1 hour).
Punch down; divide into half.
Flatten each half, rolling into a rectangle.
Fold in two sides and roll up tightly into a loaf.
Place in greased bread pan; brush top with margarine.
Let rise to double (about 1 hour).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Cover for softer crust.
