Spinach Ricotta Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. low-fat Ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. tomato, chopped
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place spinach and onion in small saucepan with small amount of water.
Cover and cook 5 minutes or until tender; drain well.
Beat cheeses and seasonings in small mixing bowl at medium speed until well blended.
Stir in spinach mixture and spread into 9-inch pie plate.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Top with tomato and Parmesan cheese. Serve with crisp rye crackers or bagel chips.
Makes 12 servings.
