Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 small squash
    1/2 onion, chopped
    2 slices bread, crumbled
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel and dice squash.
    Cook with onion until tender; mash well.
    Add butter, bread crumbs, grated cheese, salt and pepper. Place in casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
