Carrots Almondine(For The Grill) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
1/2 c. orange juice
1 lb. fresh carrots, sliced diagonally less than 1/4 inch thick or 2 (15 oz.) cans whole carrots
Preparation

Combine
cornstarch,
brown
sugar,
salt,
butter
and orange juice;
cook
until
thickened.
Arrange
carrots\tand almonds in a large double thickness square of heavy duty foil. Pour sauce over
carrots
and\talmonds;
seal\tfoil securely. Cook on gas grill at medium heat setting for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 6.
