Aunt Nez'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 6 1/2 c. bread flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
Preparation
    Combine in large bowl, 2 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add butter.
    With mixer on low speed, gradually pour 2 cups hot tap water into dry ingredients.
    Add egg, increase speed to medium. Beat 2 minutes.
    Beat in 3/4 cup flour or enough to make stiff batter.
    Beat 2 minutes with spoon.
    Stir approximately 2 1/2 cups flour to make soft dough.
    Turn dough onto floured surface and knead until smooth (5 minutes).
    Place in large greased bowl, cover and let rise approximately 1 1/2 hours.
    Punch down.
    Cover tight and refrigerate.
    Punch down occasionally.
