Heavenly White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 egg yolks
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream sugar, margarine, Crisco and egg yolks until yellow. Add remaining ingredients to mixture, alternating the milk and flour.
    Beat 3 egg whites until foamy and add to mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
    When cool, top with Heavenly Icing.
