Amish Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz.)
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and put into 9 x 13-inch pan (ungreased).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool and frost.
