Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 large green pepper, minced
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook onion and green peppers in oil until tender.
    Add ground beef and fry until mixture falls apart.
    Stir in other ingredients.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Remove cover the last 15 minutes of cooking. Serves 8 to 10.
