Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage
    1 onion
    1 green pepper (optional)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and pepper (optional) and toss with sugar. Set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Hold boil for 3 minutes.
    Allow to cool.
    Pour cooled mixture over cabbage mixture and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or package in freezer containers and freeze for use later.
    Great for unexpected guests or for plan ahead dinners.
