Ingredients

1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. oil
2 eggs
5 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
pecans and spices (if desired)
Preparation

Cream sugars and margarine.
Add oil and eggs; mix well.
Add flour, cream of tartar, vanilla, salt and baking soda.
Mix well. Form into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Press with a glass that has been dipped in sugar.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 13 to 14 dozen.
You can add 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans and a dash of nutmeg if desired.
