Applesauce Cake Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. dates, chopped
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Preparation
