Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can kraut, drained
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut kraut with scissors or a knife.
    Combine kraut, onion, celery, green pepper and carrot.
    Heat sugar and vinegar to boiling point.
    Pour over mixture.
    Cover bowl tightly and let stand in refrigerator 24 hours.
    Will keep 2 weeks.
