Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine sugar and Crisco in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended.
Add eggs, syrup and vanilla.
Beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed.
Mix until well blended.
Divide dough into quarters.
Wrap and chill for 1 hour.
Spread 1 tablespoon of flour on a sheet of waxed paper. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut out with floured cutter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
Don't overbake!!!
