Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. navy beans, drained
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
2 medium carrots, sliced in 2-inch strips
2 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 garlic clove
1 (10 oz.) can beef broth
2 tsp. dried basil
2 large bay leaves
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried thyme
4 oz. dry spaghetti in 2-inch strips
2 medium zucchini, sliced
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
4 c. water
Preparation

Bring all ingredients except spaghetti and zucchini to boil. Add spaghetti and reduce heat.
Let simmer for 20 minutes.
Add zucchini and simmer for additional 15 minutes.
Pour in bowls and sprinkle with cheese.
