Hamburgers, Indian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground lamb
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 onions, cut into 1/8-inch slices
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. coriander
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix the ground lamb and salt thoroughly.
    Form into 2-inch diameter meat patties and brown in olive oil until a rich deep brown.
    Turn down heat and add onions, all spices and tomatoes. Simmer for 45 minutes.
    Cover; stir during this time.
