Old-Fashioned Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar and molasses.
    Mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg.
    Add dry mixture alternately with milk.
    When well mixed, roll and pat in greased pan 3/8-inch thick (should make 7 to 8 layers).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
