Snow Peas(Edible Pea Pods) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen snow peas or 1 1/2 to 2 lb. fresh snow peas
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    pinch of sugar
    1 tsp. beef broth powder
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Stem and string fresh snow peas (leave them whole); or thaw frozen peas with hot water.
    Simmer in 1/4 cup water about 3 minutes.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Stir into peas.
    Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer, or until peas are tender-crisp.
