Ingredients

2 c. cooked, sliced beets or 1 can beets
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. beet liquid
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, liquid and vinegar.
Cook, stirring, on medium heat until thick, about 10 minutes.
Add salt, butter or margarine and then beets.
Cover and heat.
Serve.
Serves 4 to 5.
