Mama'S Eggless Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins (golden are better)

Preparation

Mix butter
and sugar.\tAdd dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
Add
vanilla,\tnuts
and raisins.
Bake in 4 layer pans that
have
been
greased
and floured and line the bottom with wax
paper.
Bake
at\t325\u00b0
for 30 to 40 minutes. (Watch it.) Turn out of pan to cool.
