Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples (will measure after cooking)
    sugar
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples; put into cold, salty water.
    Rinse and cook apples until soft and mushy.
    Add one cup sugar to a cup of cooked apples; add cinnamon to taste.
    Cook until thick and dark. Put into jars and cool.
