Amaretto Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. Amaretto liqueur
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar well.
Stir in egg yolks one at a time.
Add baking soda to flour.
Add flour and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture.
Add Amaretto, stirring well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into Amaretto mixture.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Let stand 15 minutes before taking out of pan.
