Miracle Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    2 sticks whipped margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. 2% sweet milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and whipped margarine with sugar; cream well. Add half of flour, half of milk and blend.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating one minute after each egg.
    Add remaining flour and milk; blend well.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour in tube pan that has been greased and floured well.
    Bake in cold oven at 325\u00b0 starting for one hour, then turn oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 20 minutes longer. Do not open oven until done.
