Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
    Scald milk and add sugar, salt and shortening.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 2 cups flour, egg and yeast.
    Beat well.
    Add more flour to make a soft dough.
