Kathy'S Cranberry Party Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 boneless chicken breasts
    garlic salt and pepper to taste
    1 large bottle Catalina or French salad dressing
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 large can whole cranberry sauce
    2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
    8 servings white rice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt and pepper to taste.
    Arrange chicken in 9 x 13-inch baking pan; set aside.
    In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour mixture over chicken.
    Cover with foil; bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil; continue baking 30 minutes longer.
    Turn oven off; let chicken sit in oven for 10 minutes.
