Canadian Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large potato, finely diced
1 medium onion, finely diced
1/4 c. celery, finely diced
1/2 c. carrots, finely diced
1 c. water
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. evaporated milk or half and half
salt and Tabasco sauce to taste
Preparation

In a 1 1/2-quart covered saucepan, simmer vegetables in water until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and heat (do not boil).
Serves 4 to 6.
