Miss Annie'S Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 .c sugar
    3 Tbsp. heavy cream
    1/8 c. water
    8 tsp. vanilla flavor
    4 tsp. butter
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place sugar in heavy skillet or saucepan over low flame.
    Add cream, water and vanilla.
    Cook and stir constantly.
    Place candy thermometer in pan and continue to cook until bubbly.
    Add butter and pecans.
    Cook until thermometer reads 250\u00b0 (hard ball).
    Pour out onto greased waxed paper and let set until cold.
    Ready to eat.
    May also be dropped by tablespoon onto waxed paper.
