Sourdough Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. proofed sourdough batter
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or Crisco
    1/2 c. milk or buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in butter.
    Mix milk with batter and stir into dry ingredients.
    Knead on a board for about 30 seconds.
    Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick; cut into circles with glass or biscuit cutter.
    Place on greased cookie sheet. Allow to rise 30 minutes.
    Brush with melted butter or milk and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
