Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chops (3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits or chunks
    3/4 c. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Trim chops; heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
    Place chops in pan and brown on each side.
    Drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients to pan.
    Stir; cover pan tightly and let braise and simmer until chops are tender, approximately 45 minutes.
    Baste essence in pan over chops occasionally as they cook.
    Skim off fat and serve sauce over chops.
    Good with rice and dried noodles.
