Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. water
6 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar and brown sugar.
Cream well.
Beat eggs with water and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with wet ingredients to creamed butter and sugar. Chill at least 1/2 hour before rolling.
Roll on floured board and cut into shapes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
