Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    12 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar 4 times.
    Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar and flavorings until soft peaks form.
    Add rest of sugar in 4 additions, beating each time until blended.
    Sift in flour mixture in 4 additions, folding in with a large spoon each time. Turn bowl often.
    Pour batter into ungreased pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Invert on bottle to cool.
