Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked butternut squash
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    2 c. milk
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    2 egg whites
    4 Tbsp. white sugar
Preparation
    Mix first 9 ingredients.
    Add to hot milk and cook until it thickens.
    Put in pie shell.
    Beat egg whites and white sugar until stiff.
    Put on top of pie and bake at 400\u00b0 until light brown.
