Pecan Brittles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream the sugars and shortening.
    Add eggs and beat until smooth.
    Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on well-greased and floured cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 11 to 12 minutes, until golden.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
