Sugar-Free Fruit 'N' Nut Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour (unbleached or whole wheat)
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped prunes
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. raisins
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Simmer water, prunes, dates and raisins four minutes.
    Beat in eggs, vanilla and walnuts.
    Add dry ingredients until well blended.
    Bake in a 9 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 16 squares.
