Banana-Bran Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 egg
    1 c. All-Bran
    1 1/2 c. crushed bananas
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; beat in egg.
    Stir in bran.
    Combine bananas, water and vanilla; add to mixture.
    Sift in flour, baking powder, salt and soda; add walnuts and stir until blended.
    Place in 8 x 4-inch or 9 x 5-inch pan.
    Bake at 325 to 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes (test with toothpick; do not overbake).
