Easy Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium-size green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 slightly beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    scant 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
Preparation
    Remove tops and seeds from peppers.
    Split lengthwise.
    Steam or cook shells in small amount of boiling water about 5 minutes. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, onion, salt, pepper and one-half can of soup.
    Fill peppers with stuffing.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Pour remaining soup over peppers. Continue cooking 15 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
