Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses or cane syrup
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 to 3 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Combine oil and sugar; add egg and beat.
    Stir in syrup. Combine dry ingredients and mix together.
    Roll dough in 1-inch balls.
    Using 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, roll balls in sugar and place 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
    Makes about 48 cookies.
