Peanut Rounders - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red food color
    3 c. parched peanuts
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except peanuts and powdered sugar. Bring to a full boil, add peanuts and cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat and add 1 cup powdered sugar.
    Pour into greased muffin tins or drop onto wax paper.
