Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1/2 c. shortening or oil
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter or oleo, shortening or oil and sugar until smooth.
    Add 1 egg at a time.
    Add milk and flour; beat good.
    Add extract and salt.
    Put in cold oven.
    Turn oven to 325\u00b0 and bake for 20 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 300\u00b0 and cook for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
