Chicken And Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 small chicken, cut up
1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced
2 c. raw long grained rice
3 c. water
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green onion tops
salt, black and red pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry chicken pieces and sausage in small amount of cooking oil until brown.
Add onions, celery and garlic and fry until brown. Add water and simmer until chicken is tender.
Add washed rice, parsley, onion tops, salt and pepper.
Stir lightly, lower fire, cover and cook until done (about 30 minutes).
Stir occasionally.
